  1. View credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the Picture Disc CD release of We Can Swing Together - The BBC Concerts on Discogs/5(3).
  2. two CD release. Lindisfarne at the BBC-The Charisma Years captures one of Britain's most important Folk Rock groups at the height of their commercial success. The album draws together an eclectic range of material, comprehensively covering all their existing BBC sessions whilst signed to the Charisma label/5(9).
  3. Although they don't make it all that clear here, the contents of this song CD are confined to sides that Lindisfarne owns itself, meaning that "Fog on the Tyne," and "Meet Me on the Corner," are all later recordings, not the original Charisma Records sides from the early s -- not that this is too important, as the various reformed/re-organized versions of the group knew how to do those songs perfectly well.8/
  4. John Peel Concert (24/06/) City Song: Train In G Major: Lady Eleanor: Fog On The Tyne: Knacker's Yard Blues: We Can Swing Together: BBC In Concert (02/12/) Together Forever: No Time To Lose: January Song: Lady Eleanor: /5(8).
  5. Lindisfarne were constant visitors to the BBC during , recording no less than 17 full sessions during that period. Only a fraction of this archive still exists, with even their BBC debut, at the beginning of the year, having long since vanished.8/
  6. At the BBC: The Charisma Years , an Album by Lindisfarne. Released in on EMI (catalog no. 2 6; CD). Genres: British Folk Rock.
  7. Four songs from the previous session were performed, along with a wild rendition of Rod's rootsy `Knackers Yard Blues' and Alan's `We Can Swing Together' which features some virtuoso harmonica from Jacka. CD1 concludes with a John Peel "In Concert" from 2nd December /5(10).
  8. Then in walked Lord Borgaasha with the Lady Eleanor. She tied my eyes with a ribbon, Of a silken gossamer thread. I gaze with troubled vision, On an old four poster bed. Where Eleanor had risen to kiss the neck below my head, And made me come along with her to the land of the dancing dead. But its alright Lady Eleanor, Alright Lady Eleanor.
